Heather Boting is an Interior Design Studio based in Johannesburg, South Africa with a growing stable of projects in and around the country. With a BA in Visual Communication from AAA school of Advertising, an internship at Elle Fashion and Elle Decoration and many successful years as a décor stylist for editorial magazines, founder Heather launched the brand in 2016. It quickly proved its worth with a phenomenal Colab stand at Design Joburg 2018, manifesting as a plush master bedroom suite and taking the concept of cocooning to new, luxurious and elegant heights.

Heather has a keen eye for harmonising composition, form and texture, which results in her intuitive sense for the alchemy of space. Whether residential or commercial, Heather’s spaces balance the scales between thorough detail and comfort - a look which she achieves by way of honest materials and a characteristically soothing palette.

Today, the business has gone from strength to strength with a tight team of staff and a roster of skilled local artisans and collaborators who share Heather's vision for quality and comfort. For her, “taking the stresses out of interiors and handling all the major and minor details,” is what it’s about. In doing so, she creates spaces that bring comfort and delight to everyday living.
